60th anniversary of the Training Campus in San Agustín del Guadalix
December of 2026
Iberdrola’s Training Campus is a global hub for knowledge, innovation and employability, and is celebrating its 60th anniversary
Each year, 13,000 people are trained in the San Agustín del Guadalix classrooms.
Iberdrola’s Innovation and Training Campus reflects the group’s commitment to technology, R&D&I and collaboration with technology centres as levers to lead the energy transition, the green recovery of the economy and the employability of young and senior professionals in future-focused sectors.
Iberdrola’s Innovation and Training Campus is a 180,000 m² complex with state-of-the-art facilities in San Agustín del Guadalix (Madrid). It consists of a series of functional, sustainable and independent buildings interconnected by an overhead canopy that spans across them.
This canopy creates an interior bioclimate that reduces the need to produce cold and hot water for the cooling and heating of the buildings by minimizing the thermal load generated on the façades. This also results in a significant reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
